The 19th Annual Meeting of
On behalf of the Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention (SGI), it is both a privilege and a great honor to extend an invitation to “The 19th Annual Meeting of the Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention (SGI 2026)”, which will take place in Seoul, Korea, on October 30 and 31, 2026.
Our society stands as a distinguished, multidisciplinary collective, dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships between radiologists, surgeons, and gastroenterologists. The core mission of the SGI is to build an integrated network of gastrointestinal intervention specialists, bridging the expertise of endoscopists, interventional radiologists, and gastrointestinal surgeons. This network serves as an invaluable platform for the exchange of cutting-edge technologies and innovations across each specialty. In addition, we are committed to supporting the next generation of exceptional young doctors, guiding them towards greater achievements on the global stage. Above all, our society strives to demonstrate the profound benefits of multi-disciplinary collaboration in enhancing clinical practice.
In alignment with these objectives, we organize an International Academic Conference annually, complemented by the publication of the International Journal of Gastrointestinal Intervention (IJGII) on a quarterly basis.
The theme of this year’s meeting, “Intelligence in Action: Shaping Tomorrow and Redefining the Future of GI Intervention,” is designed to inspire dynamic discussions and forward-looking perspectives. Distinguished international experts will share their insights, contributing to meaningful progress in both research and clinical practice. We believe this meeting will serve as an exceptional forum for scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking, offering participants valuable opportunities to discuss the latest advances in gastrointestinal intervention and digestive disease management.
We sincerely look forward to your active participation and to welcoming you to SGI 2026 in Seoul.
